He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Merrill and Doris Foster Merrill; and his siblings, Diann Patterson, Alfred, Frank, Carol and Ronald Merrill.
He is survived by: his spouse Michele R. Wickham Merrill; his children, Christopher Merrill (Amy) and Amanda Merrill; his grandchildren, Sean, Jason, Paige, Ava-Mae and Jude Merrill; and his siblings, Robert, Joanne, Frances, Debbie, Candy and Michael Merrill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
