He was predeceased by: his parents, John Christie and Francelia Christie; his siblings, John "Jack" Christie Jr., George Christie, Mary Cullum, Paul Christie and Joan Salerno; his son Edward "Buddy" Christie Jr.; and his grandson James Christie.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Cardone; his brother Mike Christie of Arizona; his daughters, Robin Dolen (John) and Francelia Smith; and his grandchildren, Zachary Christie and Madyson Christie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205).
