He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Rowinski and Helen Rowinski; his daughter Gina Marie; and his brother Andrew. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Joshua and Adam (Jessica); his grandsons, Joshua, Michael, Caleb and Eli; his brothers, Steve and John (Joanne); his siblings-in-law, Lois Rowinski, Ron Ernest and Bill Ernest (Dorothy); and his best buddies, Bill Youzwak and Norman Pounds. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
