She was predeceased by: her parents, James Phelan and Mary Dwyer Phelan; her husband Patrick; her son Sean; and her siblings, Mary, James, Daniel, John, Philip Phelan and Marcella Koehler.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Churchill, Maureen Allen (Joe), Kevin Hession (Nadine), James Hession (Candy) and Martin Hession (Carol); her grandchildren, Tara (Mike), Ryan (Casey), Patrick, Collin and Bailie; her great grandchild Ava; and her caregivers, Melissa, Tracey and Judy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
