He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chmielewski and Catherine Gush Chmielewski; his siblings, Chester Melewski (Kay), Bernard Melewski, John Mielewski III, William Mielewski and Gertrude Sally (Alex); and his son Ronald Mielewski.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Osier; his children, Gary Mielewski, Michele Mielewski, Sheila Messore (David), Robert Mielewski (Eileen) and Dawn Gautreau (Rob); his sisters-in-law, Rosalind Melewski, Leona Mielewski and Annette Mielewski; and his daughter-in-law Colleen Mielewski. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
