With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gaspar Castillo of Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gaspar Castillo and Francisca Santos; his wife Tomasa; his siblings, Remy, Francisco, Nikita, Guillermina and Chavez; his son-in-law Miguel; his children, Gaspar, Frances and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Miguel and Melissa; his great grandchildren, Michael and Maleea; his children-in-law, Walter and Deborah; and his sisters, Luz Evelyn, Maria Amelia and Mayra. He was also cherished by nephews and nieces and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parish of Mater Christi (40 Hopewell St, Albany, NY 12208-1505). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
