With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George H. Lloyd Jr. in Albany, New York, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Lloyd; his parents, Rose Lloyd, and George Lloyd, Sr.; and his sister Virginia Foley (James). He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Lloyd and Christine Mazure (Matthew); his sister Maryann King (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Dakota Rice, Sara Mroczkowski, Sean Orner and Nicolas Orner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Funerals & Cremations (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the Fresenius Kidney Care Center, 30 Centrury Hill Dr., Latham, NY 12110.
