Gerald S. Stewart Obituary

Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Stewart and Alice Stewart (Geer); and his son Joshua S. Stewart. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Stewart (Tara Shisler) of Missoula, MT; his brother Francis Stewart, Jr. (Theresa); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Kyra Stewart, Jemma and Skylar Mahanna. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. E. Autenrith Sons, Inc. (7479 Main St, Newport, NY 13416). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Middleville Rural Cemetery.
