It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Blanchard of Albany, New York, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Carroll and Alice Carroll; her husband Perry C. Blanchard; her siblings, Dorothy Beayon, Bill Carroll, June Norton, Tom Carroll and Arlene Brayson; and her aunt Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Joni Blanchard (Bruce Malone), Jo Ann Bowen (Edward), Cathy Diegel (Ken) and Perry Blanchard (Lori); her grandchildren, Emily (Brian), Elizabeth (Jeff), Casey, Jack (Kerry), Adam (Gabby), Sara and Merideth; and her great grandchildren, Amaya, Makenna and Kylen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home (870 2nd Ave, Troy, NY 12182).
