He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Simpson and Evalyn Adriance Simpson. He is survived by : his wife Yvonne McCarthy; his daughter Lisa Simpson of Albany; his sister Debbie Downey (Matt Downey); his niece Laura Danz (Tanner Danz); and his nephew Peter Downey (Ally Downey).
