It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon J. Simpson of Albany, New York, born in Catskill, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Simpson and Evalyn Adriance Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne McCarthy; his daughter Lisa Simpson of Albany; his sister Debbie Downey (Matt Downey); his niece Laura Danz (Tanner Danz); and his nephew Peter Downey (Ally Downey).

In lieu of flowers donations in Gordon's memory, and in honor of his love for dogs, may be made to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave. Albany, NY 12204.
