He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L Allen Sr. and Lillian J. Allen (Woods); and his sisters, Marie Trifiletti (Allen) and Mildred L. Mariani (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Sheryl M Allen (Hartzel); his children, Jonathan H. Allen and Sara E. Shirback (Todd); his grandsons, Ayden W. and Gavin L. Shirback; and his aunts, Helen Hale (Allen) and Alberta Knauf (Woods). He is also survived by many nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home (490 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
