Ausman in Albany, New York, born in Canastota, New York, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry E. Ausman and Ethel Merithew Ausman; his wife Joyce Ann Halsey; his children, Melissa Allen (Robert Allen) of Alabama, Susan Janovsky (Donald) of Oneida and Jeff Ausman of Canastota; his grandchildren, Robert Allen (Holly Cotton), Kailea Allen (Joseph Rassitt), Donald Janovsky Jr. and Gregory Janovsky; his sisters, Sharon Burgdoff (Gary) of Florida and Patricia Vandruff of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Johnson of Canastota, Wilford Halsey (Ruth) of Chittenango and Kenneth Halsey (Maryann) of Canastota. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
