It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Helmer of Albany, New York, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Groeber and Minnie Groeber; and her pet Dakota. She is survived by: her friends, Simone, Rosie and Jan; her children, Karen DiBella (Stephen), Glenn H. Helmer II and Kevin Helmer (Pam Eveley); her brother Eugene Groeber; and her grandchildren, Justin Helmer, Nicole DiBella (Jon Corcoran) and Casey Helmer (Scott Ruiter). She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Albany, NY 12204.
