He was predeceased by: his spouse Devera Ungerman; his sister Florence Eisenberg; his son-in-law Gerard Bobersky; and his niece Phyllis Eisenberg. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Ungerman (Allan Greenberg) and Michelle Ungerman Sanders (Danny); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Patsio (Chris), Lauren Bobersky (Rob Chase), Zachary Bobersky (Kelsey Dorado Bobersky), David Bobersky, Benjamin Sanders, Jacob Sanders (Kylie Jungles) and Rozara Sanders (Nate Liebert); his great grandchildren, Thea Vera Liebert, Maxwell Gerard Patsio and Margot Sophia Patsio; and his brother Harry (Hesh) Ungerman (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 8:30 AM, at 6:30 PM, on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob (380 Whitehall Rd, Albany, NY 12208).
