She is survived by : her son Richard Ryder Jr.; and her sister Coleen Wright (Weidman). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
