We are sad to announce that, on July 26, 2022, at the age of 76, James J. Murphy (Albany, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy and Catherine Murphy; his brother Bill; and his granddaughter Catherine. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Daniel (Jennifer) and Christopher (Michelle); his grandchildren, Devin, Garrett, Ryan and Emma; and his sisters, Mary Dolan and Kathleen (Jerry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave. (Father John Bradley Way), Albany, NY 12206 in memory of James J Murphy.
