He was predeceased by: his parents, James Terrell Sr. and Irma Lee Terrell; his sisters, Loneita Cooley and Tracy Terrell; his nieces, Irma "Stuffy" Terrell, Kisha Brown and Denoshi Salmon; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Cooley, Charlie Snyder and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Zena Terrell of Albany, NY; his daughters, Shaquana Terrell of Albany, NY, Yah (Terrell) and Nashalon Thomas of Troy, NY; and his sisters, Bennie McLean (Winston) and Diana Cooley (David).
