He was predeceased by : his parents, James S. Larson and Julia Quinn Larson; his daughter Molly Quinn Duffy; and his sister Julia M. McManus (late Neil). He is survived by : his wife Molly Phinney Larson; his sons, James Arthur Larson and Christopher William Larson (Una); his son-in-law Bernard Duffy; and his siblings, Laura Tumonis (Joe) and Lynn Quadrini (late Dennis).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home, Inc. (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Parish of Mater Christi (40 Hopewell St, Albany, NY 12208-1505).
