She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph McLaren and Joan McLaren. She is survived by : her brother Joseph McLaren, Jr.; her nieces, Amy McLaren and Crystal McLaren (Adam Kalbfliesh); her great-nephews, Aidan McLaren and Emric Kalbfliesh; and her great-niece Thea Kalbfliesh.

“I am so sorry for your loss. I met Janice when we joined the red hat society on the same day. She was always so much fun, witty with a great sense of humor. We shared a love of animals and gardening and had many conversations regarding those things. She will be missed. I take comfort in knowing she is now with her beloved Dave and the rest of her family that pre deceased her.”

“Janice was a friend of mine for many years. She was a sweet and kind person. But, when the love of her life, her husband Dave Connors, passed away a few years ago, the spark and love for life was gone. Now she is with Dave and her best friend, her mother, Joan. I will miss her dry, funny sense of humor and am thankful I spent an afternoon last summer at her camp with VRM friends.
