He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Winig; his children, Steven Winig (Carol), Jay Winig, Emily Nishi-Winig, Elizabeth Deady and James Deady (Bonni); his grandchildren, Kristin Melton (Webb), Nicholas Deady, Caitlin Lentlie, Brenden Deady (Amanda), Seiji, Kai, Koji and Imari Winig; and his great grandchildren, Tenley and Ellery Melton.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
