The memory of Joel Sigal (Albany, New York), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Joel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Sigal and Julia Sigal (Bromberg); and his sister Marilyn Katz. He is survived by: his wife Claire Hollander Sigal; his children, Emily and Jed (Elyse); his grandson Riley; his sister Andrea Pillsbury (Stephen); and his close friend Marc Marholin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Independent Benevolent Cemetery (260 Fuller Rd, Albany, NY 12203).
