He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lizzi and Catherine Lizzi; his brother Dr. Frank Lizzi; his sister-in-law Terry; and his in-laws, Agnes and Philip Minissale Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Cindy of Albany, NY; his children, John Jr. (Kelly) of Wilton, NY, Tony (Maria) of Rhode Island and Maria Norelli (Mike) of Clifton Park, NY.; his grandchildren, Claire, Regina, Johnny, Vita, Michael, Joseph, Julius, Vincenzo, Caterina and Jackson; his brother Joseph Lizzi (Karen) of Niskayuna, NY; and his brothers-in-law, Philip Minissale Jr. (Lorraine) and Ted Minissale (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
