He is survived by: his wife Florence Ford; his daughters, Jolene LaChance and Dawn Ford; his grandsons, Christopher LaChance, Michael LaChance, Alex LaChance and Zachary Garland; and his sister Nancy Clark. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and treasured friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Peter's Community Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Joe's memory. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
