He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slaver and Nettie Slaver; his wife Loretta Youngs; his siblings, William, Edward, Francis, Robert and Nettie Mae; and his grandson Joey.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph (Linda), Mark W., Matthew (Sylvia), Paul and Jack (Lynne); his grandson Bill (Kristen); his daughter Dar (Matt); his grandchildren, Amber (Fred), Richard (Zule), Mary, Shane (Tabitha), Zach (Lyssa) and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Levi, Skarlette and Joey; and his siblings, John (Cathy) and Mary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
