With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Pelkey (Albany, New York), born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 17, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alice Pelkey Scott (late Scotty) and William Bocchi. He is survived by : his close friend Sheila Byrnes; his children, Joe Pelkey (Debby) of Hudson Falls, Karla Best (Bill) of Mt. Dora, FL, William Pelkey (Wink) of Mt. Dora, FL and Jeff Pelkey (Debbie) of San Antonio, TX; and also John Byrnes IV. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several cousins.
