She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Hepinstall and Jane Hepinstall; and her brother James Hepinstall. She is survived by: her son James Dabek (Emily); her grandsons, Ethan and Noah; her sisters, Mary Jane Flanigan and JoAnna Hepinstall; and her siblings' children, Peter Flanigan (Amanda), Lisel Krezinski (John), Donna Hepinstall and Meaghan Holmsten.

Face masks, social distancing and COVID tracking are required.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.

“Kathy & I were classmates at St James grade school. She was named in honor of her grandmother who taught piano lessons to family and students. Her life time occupation was also teaching. Growing up the family loved those month long vacation trips@ Nickerson State Park in Cape Cod, camping in a home built trailer on a Model T frame with wire spoke wheels. I shared one of those trips and we swim @ Nauset Lighthouse Beach. The Good Old Days!”
