It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Khayka Shvarts in Albany, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Khayka farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her parent Basya Sheiva Liederman. She is survived by: her husband Mordko Shvarts; her daughters, Alla Porter (Walter) and Maya Tulchinsky (Sasha); her grandchildren, Zhanna Karmeli (Ariel), David Tulchinsky, Mark Tulchinsky (Crystal Davis) and Roman Tulchinsky; and her great grandchildren, Rhea Karmeli and Conner Davis Tulchinsky.
