He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Matthew Thompson, Sr. and Mamie Thompson; his wife Patrica Thompson; his sister Iris B. Brown (Abner); and his great-nephew Edward B. Brown III.
He is survived by: his children, Laci Patrica Thompson and Ivon Shuntel Thompson; his sisters, Deborah L. McGee (Richard) and Katherine McCrary (Derek); his grandsons, Mikai, Noah and Ivon Shuntel, Jr.; and his great grandchild Mionna. He is also survived by eight nieces, two nephews and many more family and friends.
