He was predeceased by: his father William Zierak. He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Jennings Zierak of Perth; his girlfriend Carolyn Bailey; his brother Brent Zierak of Broadalbin; his children, Christopher Zierak (Madeline) of Bleecker, Deidre Zierak of Gloversville and Cameron Zierak of Northville; and his grandchildren, Kylee, Ronan and Mirabella Zierak. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Amsterdam United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.

“I have just learned of Lee's death which shocked me. He was a really nice person, always smiling or joking with me, easy going, just an all around really great guy. I remember either on the bus, in school or when a bunch of us neighborhood kids would get together to horse around.....there Lee was with that great smile.
