He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Arthur and Mary Catherine Bernard (Darrigo); and his brother Alan Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Peggy); his daughters, Suzanne O'Neil (Dan), Michelle Kiciuk (Jerry), Maria Bernard (Jason Rhoads) and Theresa Bernard; his siblings, Elaine Habbinger (Joe) and Joe Bernard (Mary); and his grandchildren, Julia O'Neil, Aidan O'Neil and Joshua Mazari. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
