With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois C. Burke of Albany, New York, born in Bolton Landing, New York, who passed away on May 10, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy D. Hill and Margaret H Hill; her brothers, Leroy D Jr. and Marvin Hill; her son James Burke; and her husband Theodore R Burke.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Paonessa (Frank), Sara Jean Hill (Richard), Theodore Burke (Bethany), David Burke (Elaine), Susan Burke (David), William Burke, Joseph Burke (Lisa) and Robert Burke (Lori); her grandchildren, Dawn, Samina, Nathaniel, Sabrina, Justin, Matthew, Theodore, Marisa, Robert Jr., Payton and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Megan, Deanne, Miyanna, Michelina, Sophia, Noe' and Nicolas; and her great great grandchild Genevieve. She is also survived by her grandparents, parents and siblings.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA and or to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, for her love of all animals.
