She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Schwartz and Bessie Schwartz; and her brother Harry Schwartz of California. She is survived by: her former husband Melvin Rivkin; her children, Upon and Albany; her spouse Hyman Kuritz; her children, Eric M. Rivkin of Costa Rica, Diann R. Rivkin of Cincinnati and Leslie F. Rivkin of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Sean T. Rivkin (Ashley) of San Francisco and Elissa Rivkin of Portland, OR; and her great grandchild Adrian.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk-Hudson Animal Shelter, to honor her cat Alfred, a 20 year companion.
