She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfio Zimmitti and Grace Zimmitti (Failla); her husband John M. Grassia Sr.; and her siblings, Joseph Zimmitti and Laura Herron.
She is survived by: her children, Vincent Grassia (Anita), Sandra Gizzi and John Grassia (Judi); her grandchildren, Stephen Grassia (Gina), Cainen Gray, Vincent Crassia (Denine), Alex Gizzi, Gina McDermott (Ryan), Maria Grassia, Krista Rotondi (Marcus) and John Grassia; and her sister Zina Zimmitti. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
