She was predeceased by: her parents, Regina Kane and John Kane; her significant other Gene; her children, Barbara Zak Shields and Andrew; her brother Jack Kane; and her friend Peggy Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Cynthia), David, Kathleen Reis (Joe), Paul (Carissa) and Jeffrey (Stephanie); her son-in-law Joe Shields; her grandchildren, Allison, Greg, Christopher, Jessica, Michelle, Regina, Amanda, Madison, Megan, Emily, Matthew, Catherine, Lou, Nikki and Joey; and her great grandchildren, Christian, Sophia, Grace, Preston, Lincoln, Tanner, Teresa, Gabriel, Natalie, Walden, Alana, Caia, Aubrey and Lana.
