Matthew T. Peter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 14, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Matthew T. Peter of Albany, New York, born in Manhasset, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Peter and Nancy Peter (Flacks); his fiancée Dr. Corinne McLeod; his siblings, Sara Peter (Pete Uzarwoski) and Brian Peter; his goddaughter Gabriella Fanti; his aunt Peggy Figueroa (Emil); his uncles, Edward and Thomas Peter; his pet Athena; and his friends, Amal Jacobson, Jessica Giordano, Richard Azzopardi, Abigail Barker, Brian Shea and Becky English.

During the pandemic, he co-founded Feed Albany to help ensure no one went hungry during that crisis.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Matthew's name to the Albany Damien Center and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
