Maureen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maureen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Maureen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fitzgerald and Geraldine Leopardi of Cortland, NY.. She is survived by: her husband Ken Provost; her son Dan Provost; and her siblings, Joe Fitzgerald (Maureen) and Nancy Ford Fitzgerald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (400 Saratoga Rd, Glenville, NY 12302).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Healing Springs Recovery Community Center (https://preventioncouncil.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
