He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bushey and Margaret Samoney; his parents-in-law, George and Sandra Palmateer; his son Scott Bushey; and his granddaughter Maliyah.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bushey; his children, Michael J. Bushey Jr., Shane Bushey (Tricia), Robert Sanders, David Carleton (Katie), Jonathan Carleton, Cassandre George (Thomas) and Brittany Sanders (Malcom Murphy); his brothers, Edward Bushey Jr. and Tom Bushey (Chris); and his grandchildren, Amanda Bushey, Deanna Bushey, Brittany Bushey, Brianna Bushey, Brian Bushey, Lizabeth Terrell, Madalynn Sanders, Lilliana Sanders, Miley Murphy, Malcari Murphy, Malcom Murphy and Matthew Mosher. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many dear friends.
