He was predeceased by: his brother Marc Eden. He is survived by: his parents, John Eden and Doris Eden; his sons, Michael J. Eden (Michelle Eden), Christopher Eden and John Eden; his grandchildren, Michael J. Eden, Jr., Tyler Eden, Shaylan Kelleher-Eden, Matthew Eden, Jayce Eden and Makayla Eden; his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Kinsley, Riley, Chloe and Grayson; and his sisters, Debbie Eden and Lisa VanEpps. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.
