We are sad to announce that, on May 13, 2026, Michael Morone (Albany, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Morone and Mae Morone; and his brother Tony Morone. He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Morone; his children, Theresa I. Featherstone (Scott), Angela Morone (Todd) and Eli Morone (Alison); and his grandson Jack Featherstone.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Expedition YETI Fund for Children's Cancer, YETI TEAM c/o Bernard and Millie Duker Hospital, Albany, NY.
