He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ruggeri and Anna Ruggeri (Vrooman); his brothers, Anthony and Thomas Ruggeri; and his sister-in-law Marlene Ruggeri.
He is survived by: his niece Toni (Mark Mosconi); his great-nephews, Vincent, Nicholas (Imma) and Christopher (Alexia); Carter.
