She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard C. Hurd and Gertrude Jean Hurd. She is survived by: her husband Richard J. Higgins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery (286 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054).
