He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Angie Compton and George Ponce; his siblings, Debra Rodriguez (Lupe), Robert Ponce (Gloria), Georgeanna Navarette, Sandra Tovar (Raul) and John Ponce; his children, Sarah Jones, Angelina Ponce (Scottie Holcombe) and John Robert Ponce (Falisha Ali); his stepdaughter Cailyn Tilley; his daughter-in-law Christina Tilley; and his grandchildren, Jordyn Sheffield, Jayden Jones, Salice Holcombe, Scottie Holcombe, Brayden Dorsey and Aaliyah Holcombe.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
