It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Recenia Greene (Albany, New York), who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leola Greene and Amistad Lee Hunt; her son Kevin; her grandchildren, Maliek, Messiah, K'mari, Aija and Qu'lani; and her great grandchild Mylia. She was also cherished by loving family members, including nieces, nephews, godchildren, and countless friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the S. L. Mclaughlin Funeral Home (1226 Broadway, Albany, NY 12204).
