He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. McCarthy Sr. and Charlotte Harris McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Nuala Bridget Nally; his children, Nancy Mangels (late Jay), Richard McCarthy (Lynn), Peg McCarthy Jeffers (Dan), Kevin McCarthy (Lucy), Mark McCarthy (Marion) and Mary McCarthy (Allan Stier); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Casey, Kieran, Colleen, Brendan, Declan, Harper, Reilly, Ella, Justin, Makenna, Asia and Melena; and his great grandchildren, Emilia, Olivia and Freya.
