He was predeceased by: his father Frederick H. Ruff Jr.; and his brother Frederick Ruff. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Sughrue Ruff; his siblings, Lawrence Ruff (Carol), Leslie Hartnett (James), Linda Ruff, Laura Doolin (Robert), Lee Perrott (John), Lou Ann Griffin (Greg), Mary Sullivan, Maureen Killar, Barbara Conlon (Gary) and Peggy Davidson (Richard); his nieces and nephews, Jason, Eric, Tim, Michael, Jenn, Amy, Erin, Conor, Stephen, Shannon, Ashley, Lauren, Madeline, Catherine, Nichole, Zachary, Cullen, Charlie, Hazel, Henry, Keltyn, McKenna and Michaelee; and his friends, Nicole Persaud and Andy Fischler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
