Richard S. Raco Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 4, 2025, at the age of 84, Richard S. Raco of Albany, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Raco and Esther Ponzillo Raco; his grandson Jonathon Abatecola; and his nephew John Joyce. He is survived by: his children, Robin Raco of Loudonville, Beth Perry (Nick) of Amsterdam, Nicholas Raco (Kayla) of Saratoga Springs and Jeremy Raco of Denver, CO.; his sisters, Kathleen Joyce (late Michael) of Amsterdam and Linda Maphia (late Frank) of Mayfield; and his uncle Anthony Raco. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nieces, one nephew, and cousins.
