It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Smialek in Albany, New York, born in Niskayuna, New York, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smialek and Mary Smialek (Mickuski); and his brother John "Jack" Smialek. He is survived by: his wife Dale E. Smialek of Mary's Church; his son Kevin R. Smialek (Jennifer M.); his grandchildren, Ryan, Megan and Michael Smialek; and his siblings, Michelle Gosinski and Richard Smialek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
