She was predeceased by: her parents, James Helou and Mary Rose Helou; and her siblings, Anne Charlebois, Phyllis Hodge, Jacqueline Manzella and James Helou Jr. (James Plunkett).

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Vanderwarker (Joan) and Steven Vanderwarker (Susan); her grandchildren, Kristen Thomson (Shaun), Kevin Vanderwarker (Erica), Keri Racette (Alex) and Karah Ziegler (Matt); her great grandchildren, Chase, Emerson, Jacob, Mason, Everly, Cody and Cameron; and her nieces and nephews, Cindy Lennon (Joe), Mary Helou (Joe), Jacqueline Vilmany (Matt), James Hodge (Marlene) and James Helou III (Phoebe).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
