She is survived by: her children, Crystal Edwards (Kenneth), James Maddox (Robin), Jamila Coaxum-Lewis (Gary), William Coaxum II (Amy Lewis), Ni'Yasha Coaxum-Curry, Nastassia Rodwell (Jay), Nashanti Coaxum-Curry, Michelle Maddox-Miller (Brian) and Jeanette Pooh Faison Timmons; her grandchildren, Ivan Coaxum-Maddox, James Merced, Adeva Maddox, Jyier Maddox, Javontae Maddox (Dominque), Qua-Von Johnson, Jamir Coaxum, William Coaxum III, Ta'Lib Wallace, Marcus Marcell, Deavion Springsteen, Nazir Coaxum, Dymond Coaxum Ebron, Sapphire Coaxum Ebron, Te'zhi Ford, Emais Jenkins, Niy'Mel Miller, Niy'Ari Miller, Nariah Miller of Ada'MY Pharaoh, AhDai Morrison-Reidy, Karam Simmons, Kiana Bell, Shanatanise Maddox, Domonique Maddox and Armel Maddox; her great great grandchildren, Ivyona Coaxum-Maddox, Heidra Shaw, Syara Smith-Merced, James Merced Jr., Jazier Maddox, Mae'Lanie Maddox, Jaharie Maddox, Sa'Manie Maddox, Azie'r Maddox, Iyara Coaxum, Imair Coaxum, Keyomi Coaxum, Anariah Coaxum, Siaeir Robinson, Jayce Ebron, Ta'Lib Royal Wallace Jr., Nain'La Wallace, Kiara Keith and Jayla Beckford; her goddaughter Keke Edwards (Jayla Beckford); her niece Damita Owens; and her great-nieces, Mattie Harris and Patricia Sims. She is also survived by son "Moe," along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
