Sally M. Mangan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally M. Mangan in Albany, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loretta Weidman and John DeRusso; her son James Mangan Jr. (Lisa); and her siblings, Delores Kelly (Jim), Jean Nadeau (Donald) and Jack DeRusso (Starr).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Mangan (Laura), Renee Hale (Harry) and Teresa Dell (Jason); her stepchildren, Christopher Mangan (Susan) and Tina Mann (Joakim); her grandchildren, Tyler (Lissy), Nicole (Tom), Melody (Ryan), Aedan (Bethany), Isabella, Ayva, Sianna, Ayla, Jonathan and Macie; her great grandchildren, Lilly, Brooks, McKenna and Max; and her sisters, Kate Huston (John) and Joan Leveroni. She is also survived by four loving stepbrothers and one stepsister; and several wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Henry's Church (39 Old Rte 66, Averill Park, NY 12018). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery and Memorial Park (983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
